Asthma Treatment

CCHN's asthma treatment pool was designed as a preventative health program for uninsured children with asthma in San Diego and Imperial Counties. With the support of the Rest Haven Children's Health Fund, since January 2007, CCHN's asthma treatment pool has increased the quality of life for over 650 uninsured children diagnosed with asthma by providing needed doctor visits, medications/supplies, treatment services, health education, and patient self management.  The CCHN asthma treatment pool provides a means by which community clinics and health centers can provide needed services to low-income and uninsured children with no source of funding to pay for necessary asthma-related services.
