Take vitals and assist in medical examinations. Determine patient program eligibility, patient charges for visits, lab work and medications dispensed.
Requirements: Medical Assistant Certificate and current CPR certification, data entry skills and general computer knowledge. One year back office experience for MA II; two years experiencefor “float” positions. Familiarity with medical terminology. Bilingual English/Spanish. Phlebotomy certificate preferred. Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation and current vehicle registration and insurance required for Float positions.
