Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Internist will assist in coordinating the delivery of health care services with other departments at Comprehensive Health Center. Physician will examine patients, order laboratory and radiological evaluations, and diagnose patient illness/health care needs. Internist will also prescribe/administer medical treatment, specialty referral, health education and follow-up care as needed. Responsibilities also include supervision of professional and administrative staff within Comprehensive Health Center.
Requirements:
-Current California Medical License, Board Certificate, DEA Certificate, CPR Certification REQUIRED.
-Minimum one (1) year of ambulatory care experience, exclusive to residency.
-Minimum one (1) year of supervisory responsibility and/or administrative experience in a community oriented medical practice.
