Kaiser Permanente Clinic Grant Award

The CCC and nine member San Diego County clinics have received a grant award of $460,000 from Kaiser Permanente!

Grant Term:        July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010

Partners:              9 San Diego clinics

Contact:               Heather Bennett, CCC, 619-542-4300

The goal of the collaborative project is to support the ongoing provision of primary and preventive health care services to uninsured and low-income patients at nine community health center organizations in San Diego County

Kaiser Permanente (KP) has provided similar amount to clinics since 2003, and this funding is crucial to the clinics as it allows them the flexibility to use the funds for core operating support, cover visit costs for patients who are uninsured, and for staffing or equipment needs. Direct services will result in increased access to primary and preventive health care services and disease management education and information for community health center patients.  These services will significantly benefit community health centers, patients, families and communities in San Diego County.
